privacy policy

CLIable is a self-hosted runtime. Your agent runs, connector configs, and audit records never leave your machine. This policy covers only what the CLIable marketing website itself collects — which is minimal by design.

what we collect

The marketing website at cliable.dev uses lightweight, privacy-respecting site analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — page views, referrer, device class, and country. No cross-site tracking identifiers are set. No advertising networks are involved.

If you submit the contact or demo-request form, we collect your name, work email address, and any message you choose to include. That data is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared or sold.

what we don't collect — and why that matters

CLIable runs entirely on your infrastructure. Run records, interaction tasks, policy decisions, connector credentials, and agent inputs/outputs are written to a local SQLite database on your machine. None of that data is transmitted to CLIable servers, because CLIable has no server-side ingestion path for runtime data.

This is not a legal hedge — it is the architecture. The runtime is a CLI tool installed via uv tool install cliable. It has no persistent connection to us. The audit trail belongs to you.

cookies

The marketing site may set a session cookie for functional purposes (e.g. preserving theme preference) and an anonymous analytics identifier scoped to cliable.dev. No third-party advertising cookies are set. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting access to any part of the site.

third parties

We may use a privacy-focused analytics provider (e.g. Plausible or Fathom) that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint users, and does not sell data. No other third-party data processors receive personal information from the marketing site.

Connector packages (e.g. @cliable/stripe) communicate directly with the relevant third-party API on your machine, under your credentials. CLIable does not proxy, log, or observe those API calls.

data requests and deletion

If you submitted a contact form and want the associated data removed, email us at privacy@cliable.dev. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Because we hold only the data you voluntarily sent, most requests resolve in hours.

Runtime data — runs, tasks, policy decisions — lives in your local SQLite database. Deleting it is your call: rm the shard file.
